Charlie Hooks said that I wrote (re Carroll Lee) :

 " Carroll was one of the truly gifted players, and I have a 7" reel with
him on one side and Art Tatum on the other--defy you to tell for sure which
is which."

I didn't write that Charlie - whoever has that tape I would like a copy too
please when you get around to it.
