Hello list mates, I had not received the mailing for a few years. I
thought that it had
been discontinued when Bob Ringwald died. All of sudden I received 4
mailings and I
am happy to see that the mailing list still exists. I did receive it for
years before.
Chris Daniels and I were the last two members of the Climax Jazz Band and
when Chris
passed away Jan 2nd/2023, I like to inform the members that the Climax
Jazz Band
does not exist any more.
Jamie Aug (drm) and I (bjo) are the last ones still playing here and
there, the other members Mick Lewis (cl) and Len Gosling (tb) are too sick
to play anymore.
So we have joint the other bands that have recently kicked the bucket.
For all you members that are still playing, keep up the good work and keep
this beautiful
music going for all to enjoy.
Keepjazzin'
Jack Vincken
Toronto, Ontario.
