You are probably right, Jim, but I, for one, look for more obscure tunes -
I have countless versions of warhorses and standards which have not yet
become warhorses in my collection. I rather doubt it that I am unique.
But then, I have been a record collector since 1958.
Eli Preminger of the Chocolate Factory has a tendency to include obscure
Ellingtonia in the band's repertoire, and it goes very well with audiences
here.
