RE:Kelly. There are two characters and each has lines. Timothy Kelly, the store owner and Pat Clancy
the sign painter. Maybe I read the lyric as Timothy saying "If I agree to knock the "L" out of Kelly
spell my name (Kely) .. in true Irish tradition we will remain good friends.
From your music I read it as Pat singing the chorus both times round..
And referring to copyright. There is of course more than one copyright. The music, notes chords etc. has a copyright and so does
the setting out of the dots on the page. So the likes of Hal Leonard can specify a 2020 copyright year just for changing
the layout of the music on the page and make it look like the music has a new copyright date.
