[Dixielandjazz] FW: Joe Lentino

Listmates, 

 

Some of you may have played with or heard of Joe Lentino. 

 

Joe’s close friend has told us that that Joe died on Friday (the 20th if I am working backwards correctly). No details yet.   Joe had played quite a few gigs over the past couple of years in our band, the New New Orleans Jazz Band, and was still playing strong, creative trombone lines right to the end.
