Hi - you should be able to record the entire record into the hard drive and
then burn it to a CD.

You can pause the recording process in the computer while you flip the
record over.

Why do each song individually ?

There is software available which will clean up a lot of the record
scratches as you record it.

I met and worked with Jim 25 years ago in Portland while I was on tour doing
school shows there.

He was an excellent player and a very nice guy - I'm sorry to hear of his
passing.

Good luck -

	Hi;

Like many of you, I have many LPs which I've purchased over the
years.
However, most of my current listening to music is via CDs which are
relatively inexpensive. My turntable is in my office while most of
listening
is in the living room via a CD player and, of course, in my car.
To solve this dilemma, I've got the music from the turntable pumping
into my
computer's hard drive. Next, I have to burn each individual file
onto the CD
burner. Many of my LPs are not available on CD.

The hard work comes in separating each of the songs on the LP and
	eliminating pops.

Any suggestions on how to make this process easier?

	Thanks,

	Stan
