[Dixielandjazz] Great list....DJML

This is a great list for "hooking up" with like-minded jazz lovers, and once
again my wife & I have had the pleasure of meeting another member of our
great list!  We were recently in St. Petersburg, Florida & arranged to meet
up with Barb Jordan (long time DJML list member) & her mate, Jeff.  

 

Unfortunately, we missed Barb's weekly gig in a Brandenton, Florida
restaurant, but we had dinner there the next nite & she sat in with the band
that was playing that nite.  She performs often with that band, also, so it
wasn't just the usual "sit-in" situation.  A real professional singer, Barb,
and a lot of fun on top of it!!

 

You can catch Barb in Toronto, Canada, also, during the warmer months, so be
sure to take note of those two towns (Brandenton is really just part of
Sarasota, Florida).  If you find you are visiting one of those places, be
sure to contact Barb to see where she is performing. 

 

I've met many, many folks from the list over the years, both with folks
visiting Madrid, and during my own travels.  Always a joy!
