My album was titled "Rampart & Vine" and was terrific.
Abe Lincoln was on a lot of things, but notably was paired with Jack Teagarden on "Coast Concert" ... considered by many too be the finest Trad album ever made.
Matty Matlock's big band charts (Paducah Patrol) were played for years - perhaps still - by Bill Allred & his band.
Eddie Miller was well known to the New Orleans bunch - maybe from there - Connie Jones mentioned him frequently.

Dear Ron:
I have the Rampart Street Paraders in a Mosaic boxed set called the Classic Columbia Condon Mob Sessions. If you can furnish the Columbia album number I can be more specific as to exact personnel.
My brother Ed once had an LP by the Paraders, and the liner notes identified them as Hollywood studio musicians. Mosaic lists the personnel as follows:
Clyde Hurley, trumpet
Abe Lincoln, trombone
Matty Matlock, clarinet
Eddie Miller, clarinet and tenor sax
Stan Wrightsman, piano
George Van Eps, guitar
Phil Stephens, bass
Nick Fatool, drums
On some tracks, add Joe Rushton, bass sax
A quick look at the lineup suggest why you like them so much. There are some notable performers here.
Regards,
Dave Stoddard

This is the album cover of Rampart Street Paraders on a Columbia album with no liner notes or personnel. Very good players, but does anyone know who they are?
Thanks,
Ron
