[Dixielandjazz] Who Are These Guys?

Dear Ron:

 

I have the Rampart Street Paraders in a Mosaic boxed set called the Classic
Columbia Condon Mob Sessions.  If you can furnish the Columbia album number
I can be more specific as to exact personnel.

 

My brother Ed once had an LP by the Paraders, and the liner notes identified
them as Hollywood studio musicians.  Mosaic lists the personnel as follows:

 

Clyde Hurley, trumpet

Abe Lincoln, trombone

Matty Matlock, clarinet

Eddie Miller, clarinet and tenor sax

Stan Wrightsman, piano

George Van Eps, guitar

Phil Stephens, bass

Nick Fatool, drums

 

On some tracks, add Joe Rushton, bass sax

 

A quick look at the lineup suggest why you like them so much.  There are
some notable performers here.

This is the album cover of Rampart Street Paraders on a Columbia album with
no liner notes or personnel.  Very good players, but does anyone know who
they are?
