[Dixielandjazz] Pronunciation

In New Orleans, everyone pronounces it (the street name) "GRA-vier," with
strong emphasis on the first syllable. The "vier" part is pronounced in the
English fashion, not the French "vi-ay," and the "vi" and the "er" parts are
run together with the volume trailing off to almost (but not quite) nothing
when you get to the "r." Hence a non-native thinks we pronounce it
"Graviuh."

A simple question. How should I pronounce Gravier in Gravier street blues?
