Bunny Berigan had the line about practisching drunk before Zoot did.Perhaps it was the health-bringing end of prohibition which allowed Zoot some extra years?I did not long ago cite Wild Bill's "how am I still here?" line, having more than looked into a glass and wondered quite what it was he had just drained it of.
