[Dixielandjazz] St. Pete Beach

Jim.............Hotel/resort is Bilmar Hotel, Treasure Island, FL.  Check their website........Dixie group plays Wed nites, 6:30-9:00 in their beach-side restaurant. (per their web site).  Unless the band has changed, they have played there for many years now.  We wintered in FL for 15years from 2000 to 2005 (about) and went there many times.  Suncoast Jazz Club would have more info on gigs around there.  Treasure Island is the island directly north of St Pete Beach.
If you are going there, I'm sure you will have a  great time.
You probably do not remember, but we met several years ago at the Woodwind/Brasswind store in South Bend, IN.  You gifted me with a couple of your group CD's !  You bought a new trombone I think!

I seem to recall that a long-living trad band was still going on St. Pete Beach/Treasure Island in St. Petersburg.  Does anyone know if they are still playing, and where the place is?
