[Dixielandjazz] Babylon Berlin on Netflix - great German Hot Jazz (with that "Cabaret" feel.)

Just finished binge watching the first season of this series, a crime noir
set in mid 20s Weimar Republic Berlin. The production is fantastic and a
lot of attention was given to the musicians and vocalists - the music
ranges from hot Charlestons to dark dramatic numbers adapted or written
especially for the program. There is a bit of more modern music in the
soundtrack, but not enough to distract from the overall period feeling.

This is a very adult series, with "sax and violins," integral to the plot,
so if that is not your cup of tea, don't watch!
