[Dixielandjazz] Is This Trad ????

I, too, like the band.
"Trad" was originally just shortened "traditional jazz," which became THE
popular music in Britain.  But then it deteriorated, and the term became
negative.
As you might have seen in listmate Ken's posting, to his generation it
again means just "traditional jazz."
