Hi Jim,

 

Something very ghostly with that band and certainly not a Humph band even
when he was alive. Big band in the sky maybe but definitely not OKOM.

I was just in London with my wife, and in town near my son's house there is
a pub that has a Jazz Room.  I noticed that the Humphrey Lyttelton band is
scheduled to play there on 18 July.  The Bullshead in Barnes.  Most of the
other bands were not particularly OKOM.  15 Pounds entrance fee.

Band members are listed as Tony Fisher, Stan Tracey, Tubby Hayes, and Kenny
Clarke.  We were only in London for the weekend and were at the pub as we
are renting an upstairs room for an August family celebration.  Nice place,
right on the River Thames.
