Disney - FULL TIME BANJO PLAYER AUDITIONS

   

  WALT DISNEY WORLD – FULL TIME BANJO PLAYER
  JUNE 6, 2016 

  Disney Parks Talent Casting is seeking one Full Time Banjo player to perform in the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue; performed at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL. Candidates may also be considered for Part Time roles that potentially become available from the casting of this audition. 

   

  The Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue is an evening of old-time food, fun and song as a troupe of Civil War era traveling players (consisting of six vocalists, a pianist and a banjo player) barnstorm into Disney's Fort Wilderness with silly skits, fancy footwork, and heart-warming music and song.

  Requirements:
  • Performers must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Please provide a current résumé of experience.
  • The audition will be judged on musical ability, showmanship and familiarity with genre.
  • Must have ability to perform without music.
  • Strong ability to improvise and interact with guests.
  • Must have prepared audition medley to showcase talents.

  Musicians employed by the Walt Disney World® Resort are covered under the terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement with the American Federation of Musicians.
