The above captioned LP. Olympic Records 7122, contains eight tracks:
"That's a Plenty," "Cherie". "The One I Love Belongs to Somebody Else"
(Liza Morrow - vcl), "When My Sugar Walks Down the Street" (with Hot Lips
Page), "Ballin' the Jack," "Someone to Watch Over Me" (L. Morrow), Sweet
Georgia Brown" and "Uncle Sam's Blues" (Page).
The personnel given is Billy Butterfield, Bobby Hackett and Hot Lips Page
(trumpet), Pee Wee Russell, Ernie Caceres (bar), Gene Schroeder, Condon,
Bob Haggart and Geroge Wettling, and it was recoded "in New Your City in
1944".
I assume that it comes from one or more of the Town Hall concerts, and not
all the trumpeters play on all numbers. The music is excellent, but the
sound leaves much to be desired.
Could you provide exact information?
Cheers
