[Dixielandjazz] Latin Influences on Early Jazz

A tune I didn't think about but which at least deserves a mentioning:   
Frenesi - big hit for Artie Shaw, which he recorded after his first "forced" holiday.  (Artie had some problems with the life as a popular bandleader)
Composed by Mexican songwriter Alberto Domínguez Borrás.   
Of course one can argue that 1940 is not really early, but a #1 hit recording by a jazz artist always is a consideration.
