[Dixielandjazz] Condon/Freeman CDs-a query

I find that most like both styles, if not equally, then at least significantly one way or the other.

Back before I'd gotten a hold of the CD reissue of Eddie's "Bixieland" LP I'd made my own CD and brought copies with me to the Fresno festival to give away.  All the musicians, of both stripes, accepted with enthusiasm, except for one, and, yes, he was of the banjo-and-tuba variety.
