As requested, here are the "words and music":
So far as I can find, there are NO lyrics to "A Smo-o-o-oth One" (with four O's).
It was recorded by the Benny Goodman Sextet on 13 March 1941 and released on Columbia 26099 and Parlophone R2816.
However, the tune (minus the A) was copyrighted as Smo-o-o-oth one; melody Benny Goodman. June 27, 1941; E unp. 262889; Regent music corp., New York.
According to D Russell Connor, the BG bio/discographer, it was originally titled "Moppin' It Up".
