[Dixielandjazz] Boogie woogie

Next Tuesday (haven't yet bought a ticket) and Thursday (I have a ticket
for that one) I am going to see Silvan Zingg.  At the jazz evening tonight
we saw some videos, courtesy of a friend, and more people got interested.
So I guess I won't be slone on Thursday; on Tuesday I might, but I'm
planning to be there, barring sudden illness or death, of course.
We played a tribute to Clark Terry (nothing to do with boogie woogie) and
two records on listmate Paige van Vorst's label - New Orleans: Kid Thomas
at Kohlman's Taver and Alvin Alcorn; usually, at jazz evenings I only play
one side of an LP, but the latter record brought a request for the othe
side, and I was happy to oblige; when I'm on my own and have the time, I
always play both sides of an LP.
And you should try palinka if you have the chance!  A bit on the strong
side, though - the one I hve is 50% abv, but last December I had 64%
palinka in Budapest.
