I also listened to Brown's 'interpretations' of "Memories Of You" and "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" on that same YouTube page. 
Mmmmm.
Back in the late 1950s (about the time they were recorded) we kids used to say, "too many notes" when comparing those solos to 'our music'.
Now listen to this version of "I Can't Get Started" to hear how the tune can also be played.
