I've just started reading Robert Brodsky's above titled book and early on he
gives a list of things helping or preventing one from writing the blues. He
said that you can't write a blues about golf but that got me thinking
soooooo:

The Golf Course Blues

I've got the golf course Blues,
Don't know what to do.
I've got the golf course Blues,
Don't know what to do.
Slow foursome ahead,
Ain't no playin' through.

Placed my ball on that tee to make my drive.
Placed my ball on that tee to make my drive.
But they're so slow,
Won't get out of here alive.

Oh Baby, baby, why did I leave you?
Oh Baby, baby, why did I leave you?
Won't be home for lunch
Might miss dinner too.

I've got the golf course Blues,
Don't know what to do.
I've got the golf course Blues,
Don't know what to do.
They're playin' so slow,
I'll never get home to you.
