Hi Marek,

How did you manage to sneak that Breda photo through the DJML attachment
stripper ?

The band depicted (Brandaris) were a pain in the arse at a couple of
festivals (including Breda & Lugano) I worked at. They appeared to get great
pleasure by marching/playing as closely past other bands' stages as possible
while another band was performing. It happened at Lugano 1980 when I was
with Sammy Rimington and we had Benny Waters guesting with us on a stage in
the main square. The Brandaris Band could have marched past at the other end
of the square, but no, they passed by close enough for Benny, Sammy & Co to
stop playing. Our audience were not pleased either ...... they boooooo'd
Brandaris out of the square.

Good old days!
On the first day I was wearing an old Breda t-shirt with the "Oude Stijl"
logo.  As I was queueing to get my tickets to "Duo spcial,"  someone
commented "you have a nice shirt," and I replied that it was in protest
against its no longer being "old style."
I had good time nevertheless, of which on another occasion.
