Dear Louis,

It was a joke with some real meaning to it. 

The Facebook page should have never stolen our name, DJML. We have had this name for around 18years. 

They should have used a name maybe such as:

DFB (Dixieland FaceBook) or TJFB (Traditional Jazz Face Book)

And you may subscribe to the “Facebook Version” but it is not a version of DJML. We are not connected to it. Please don’t refer to it as the “FaceBook Version.”

Hi Robert,

Yes DJML has been quiet, but I also subscribe to the facebook version ( 
counterfeit is not a nice term). Live and let live. The music should speak 
for itself without being even more divisive. We are (I suspect) a 
diminishing group of folk, so for heavens sake let us live together and 
enjoy the music.
