I just did a Google search “Clancy Hayes discography” and found a number of listings of LPs, 45rpm, and CDs. One of the commercial exchanges is:

http://www.gemm.com/artist/Clancy%20Hayes

I suspect what you have is a compilation of tracks from a number of different sources. I’ve listened to hundreds of Clancy Hayes recordings since about 1970 when I heard and fell in love with “Oh! By Jingo, Clancy Hayes with the Original Salty Dogs” and later when Leon Oakley put together and gave me a reel to reel tape of a bunch of LPs of Clancy singing with Bob Scobey. This was when, in 1976, I had just started my 8-year stint as intermission performer for Turk’s band at Earthquake McGoons, and Leon thought I would enjoy learning some of Clancy’s tunes. Clancy had also done intermissions a few years before me until he passed away in 1972. If you listen to the Clancy’s tracks enough you should be able to pick out most of the individual other musicians, especially Scobey, Bill Napier (clarinet), and others. I still play with 2 of the guys on the Original Salty Dogs album, Mike Walbridge on tuba and Kim Cusack on clarinet, and I always give them a hard time hearing them “in my youth” and how they sound just as good now as they did then.

An interesting note: the price of “Satchel of Song” on the above website is almost 8 times as much as what we have it available for at the San Francisco Traditional Jazz Foundation! If you want this CD, go to http://www.sftradjazz.org and go to the Foundation store (member or non-member).
