The link is to a clip of the Storyville Stringband. I've just
discovered them. I first learned of the string band history
in early New Orleans music when I heard a few selections
of the 6 and 7/8 string band that were recorded years
after their glory years beginning in 1915 or thereabouts.
Doc Souchon, mostly known, I think, for his efforts at
the preservation and history of early jazz had been
a member of the 6 and 7/8 band at its formation.

This subset of jazz deserves some attention, I think.
They have a nice sound to my ear.
