I don't know how many of you subscribe to Jazz on the Tube.  It doesn't
feature too much OKOM, and I delete most of what I get from them without
listening.  But today's posting is different - definitely OKOM, and
something I have never heard before.

Born December 16, 1915 in San Francisco,
trombonist Turk Murphy began his professional
career with the Lu Watters' Band.

After stating his own group in 1947
he became a key figure of the West
coast 'Dixieland Jazz Revival'.
