Wow, thanks, Dave. Your link shows Goudie to be an impressive jazzman whose existence eluded me in the past. It's good to learn something new every 79 years or so. Live long enough, and learn. The YouTube link below of Goudie with Dhango and Grappelli (on piano!) shows him to be a fine swing musician on trumpet, sax, and clarinet at age 36 in 1935. I like his trumpet best here.
