Thank you , Dan Barrett.
Last weekend the Dixieland Crackerjacks played in Bremen at a Jazz Festival.

There I tried your announcement, that video taping was allowed, but only if the person who recorded also was willing to buy at least one of our CDs.I then explained that otherwise musicians never would earn anything anymore.To my big surprise , it was met with great approval from the entire audience, and one person who actually was filming, immediatly bought two copies. As many more people did later.
So, a trick that might as well work in the future.
