Marek;
A p-bone is a plastic trombone which costs less than $200. The sound is a
bit more than OK and I've seen several trombonists on TV shows playing one
from time to time. It was designed by Jiggs Whigham who's a famous (to
trombonists) British trombonist. It comes in an assortment of colors to
match one's clothing, mood, etc.

Thank you, Stan.
Not that I have the vaguest what a p-bone is, but I have forwarded the
message to Amnon.
The enire trip to NO is October 7-11, which really leaves very little time
for jazz, but I hope he'll be able to get at least some.
Thanks to all those who have replied,
Marek

If your friend really wants to play in NO, he may want to invest in a p-bone
- it's inexpensive and if something happens to it, it doesn't amount to a
great loss.
