Hi Gary and list mates, I only learned this tune from the George Lewis versions with Kid Howard singing the vocal. The first line of the vocal the way Howard sings it seems to go - L O U I S I A N A - Louisnian-I-A. I don't know if that was the way it was written, but it works for me. Sorry I can't be more help.
