Hello Louis,
Enrico Toamsso must be among the hottest names in jazz trumpeting, even if
American listmates (and jazz fans in general) are not aware of him. Of the
others, I only know Alan Barnes (despite having played with both Humph and
Keith Nichols, noe exactly an OKOM player) and Martin Wheatley; all the
others are new to me.
Whether "it's great to see 'Pop' stars venturing into..." OKOM " I don't
know - the question is how successful they are at it! Do they swing? I
haven't the guts to try and check;erhaps I've left all my daring in the
battlefield.
