OK, not so much of the bagpipe jokes, Ringo!

almost as bad as the banjo-basher whose online lousy pastiches and pointless elaborations of earlier reference works have been complained about for some time -- the idiot who in the thing he cribbed together about George Chisholm suggested that that maestro had not travelled and made an international reputation only because of a love of HAGGIS.  George Chisholm lived in London for about sixty of his eighty and so years, not exactly a centre of the haggis industry!

Sandy Brown actually credited the background of Scottish jazz proficiency to bagpipe and other native music.

Just imagine being haunted by Sandy, George Chisholm, Archie Semple, Ian Armit, Al Fairweather, Stan Greig, Maurice Rose, Alex Welsh, Alex Shaw, and a host of others, standing there looming in grey robes, twitching accusingly, fingering each his chosen musical axe, staring, invoking realistic apprehensions of what they could do, and in a deadly punitive silence REFUSING TO PLAY.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
