Subject: FW: Patty Wassum Recovery Fund- Please Help!
Dear Bob,
Patty Wassum has been the head counselor at our STJS Jazz Camp for 7 years now. Two weeks ago she collapsed while teaching her middle school band. A brain tumor was found to be the cause and it was removed last week.
Teachers do not get disability, being single and living alone, this creates a potentially disastrous situation.
Can you please consider forwarding the following link?
Thank you so much,
Felicia Weatherly

Subject: Patty Wassum Recovery Fund- Please Help!
Dear Friends,
On Tuesday, September 17, 2013, Patty Wassum suffered a grand mal seizure while teaching her beginning band. A week later she had brain surgery to remove the golf ball size tumor that was pushing up against her brain. She is currently at home now in recovery. Unable to work or care for herself, friends are watching over her 24/7. Many folks who live far away have asked how they can help. We have set up a PlumFund to help her on her journey to recovery. Even a modest donation of $10 would make a difference! PlumFund is a trusted website run by my friend Sara Margulis from UC Davis.
Our goal is to get Patty back on her feet again without the stress of finances. With all of your love and support she will be playing the clarinet again soon! Thank you for your generous donations!
