Last night I posted the following (irrelevant parts deleted).  This morning
I received from Eli a correction I am happy to forward - Cafe Dalia does
pay, albeir a set sum for the whole group.  Not that the musicians will get
rich, but not too bad either.

Last Monday, three friends amd I went to hear Eli and the Chocolate Factory
in Cafe Dalia in Tel-Aviv.  ...Nice place, good music, good beer, good food
- who could ask for anything more?  One snag - the band was not paid but
rather "passed the hat."
