This looks interesting - maybe not quite OKOM ;-)

May 18th The Cellar W3611 West Broadway
WENDY BISCUIT FRESH HOT SWING
featuring WENDY BISCUIT vocals guitar, DAVE WEBB piano, JOHN NOLAN drummer
Local chanteuse Wendy Biscuit brings the sounds of her Heritage- the Ozark
Mountains of Missouri- to life with her original music in the form of a
newly released CD - FRESH*HOT*SWING. Along with her sturdy Piano man Dave
Webb - Pomp and Panache- as well as the ‘Steady Eddie’ of all things rhythm
and ears, main- stay jazz drummer Mr. John Nolan, Wendy Biscuit never fails
to delight with stage presence, unique arrangements and plenty of
personality. Variations of Swing music through the ages, B-side Divas, Jazz
and Blues this will be an entertaining evening of history, great music and
quality entertainment. Please enjoy.

May 19th The Revel Room, 238 Abbott St,

listeners on a journey to an age where cool meant classy and noir was the
norm.

The CITR ( http://www.citr.ca/ ) community radio station calendar doesn't
look too promising...
