Not "personal preferences."  I heard Pete Christlieb much too much -
and never liked the style he chose.  Not jazz.  Certainly not to a
mouldy fig.  I don't know the lady,.

 And that's how growth takes place.  Open up the mind for change,


My mind had been open for change too long!  I am still sorry for the
countless hours wasted on the boring sounds of the Brubecks, the
Christliebs and othe "West Coast" style musicians, and the outright
ugly sounds of the Coltranes, Shorters, and their ilk.  I have
developed over time, ceparated the grain from th chaff. and am not
going to eat the latter again.
All of which is not really relevant in this case, because I live a few
thousnad miles from California.
