I've been a Kenny Ball fan ever since 1961-MIDNIGHT IN MOSCOW
about five
years ago Eric Holroyd told me that Kenny told him he didn't have his LP
"Midnight In Moscow". I looked Kenny up on his webpage and I emailed him and
he verified it, so I made a copy of his LP and copied the album cover on a
CD and sent it to him. At that time, I asked him if he would come to N.
California and sit in with CB7 on some gigs. He said sure, get some lined up
and he'd come and bring his wife over, saying he's never been to N.
California. Ringwald and I were working on it when Kenny's agent heard about
it and said it would cost us about $15.000. NOT!

When CB7 played the Edinburgh Jazz Festival in 2002, Kenny's room and mine
were side by side in the dormitory where we were housed
never met him,
dammit! Schedules!

Three of my favorites
Midnight In Moscow is, of course the all-time fav!
