I thought I'd go straight to the source and just ask, and the reply
was fairly quick, and very interesting -- perhaps Steve Voce could
contact Nathan directly and offer his copies for archive?

Hi Gary - I've never seen evidence of any Lomax-Teagarden interview.
Lomax's only extant jazz-related interviews are the eight hours of
Library of Congress sessions he held with Jelly Roll Morton in 1938,
and, in 1949, with close collaborators of Jelly Roll's conducted as
research for his "Mr. Jelly Roll" biography. You'll find the later
interviews in the collection entitled "New Orleans Jazz Interviews
1949" in our online Research Center. (The JRM interviews are not
available online at present.)

Thanks for your interest.

All best,
Nathan
