Tommy Dorsey played some very good solos on trumpet. Can not remember the source, but Jimmy apparently played cornet - correct?

I have been getting a list together. Any additions, subtractions and comments would be most welcome

Hoagy Carmichael is often cited as the 'unknown' person but he was on route from Indianapolis to Hollywood during this time.

Rust and others have incorrectly considered Joseph 'King' Oliver to be on cornet (it does sound like him) and incorrectly listed the session as 30 April.

Jimmy Dorsey does not solo on cornet but plays cornet in trio together with Beiderbecke & Margulis. The piano player (?Harry Peretta) did not turn up so Challis had to play piano also he left the arrangement at home and had to rewrite in the studio - they got it about right by the 7th take.
