Jazz fans will be interested in the 4th Jeff
and Joel's House Party held
in Guilford, CT Oct.
11-13with a Friday
Night Specialwith musicians from The
Paris Washboard,
Paris, France.  

In
the spirit of “keeping traditional jazz alive” Jeff Barnhart and
Joel Schiavone will be presenting the 4th Jeff
and Joel's House Party,
reminiscent of the 1920's Rent parties. Jeff directs 14 top
traditional jazz musicians mixing and matching the groups in Joel
and Donna Schiavone's historic New England home in Guilford, CT.
It's having fun with friends, good food and hydration and toe-tapping
music up close to the musicians.   It's Vintage Jazz like you've
never heard it before!

In
addition to the 3 sessions on Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 12-13) on
Oct. 11 at 7:30pm there will be a Friday
Night Special featuring
Daniel Barda (trombone) and Alain Marquet (clarinet) of The
Paris Washboardwho are flying in from Paris for the weekend.  They'll be
accompanied by Jeff on the piano and Bill Reynolds on drums.  Just
for this special event the tickets are $25 and reservations are being
taken now. 

The
3 sessions are Saturday (11-4 with lunch and 5-10 with dinner) and
Sunday (11-4 with brunch).  Musicians include: Fred
Vigorito, Gordon Au - Trumpet; Noel Kaletsky, Alain Marquet - Reeds;
Emily
Asher, Daniel Barda - Trombone; Jeff Barnhart, Ian Frenkel - Piano;
Joel
Schiavone, Bob Barta; Lou Bocciarelli, Al Bernard - Bass;
Tom
Palinko, Bill Reynolds - Drums.  Each session is $80 or $225 for
all 3 sessions including meals.
