Dear Jim,
You may already have the following information:

http://books.google.com.au/books?id=mgVhAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA783&dq=Olga,+DC+Nelson,+Joe+Oliver+1931&hl=en&sa=X&ei=TuddUYS5K4WQiAf3_oC4Ag&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q=Olga%2C%20DC%20Nelson%2C%20Joe%20Oliver%201931&f=false

Olga: melody by D.C Nelson and Joe Oliver. © 1 c. May 20, 1931; E unp. 40326; Southern music pub. co., inc., New York. 15355

I also found this:
Renewed: 20 May 1958 by Stella Oliver (W): R221449.

Which would seem to indicate that it was unpublished.
So far, my preliminary search has not turned up much else of interest.
I gave up years ago using the internet to search the Library of Congress for music copyrights.
I think you have to go there in person. Or, at least, reside in the US.

Those listmates who have got this far may be interested ib=n hearing the Oliver recording.
