Subject: Update on Eric Holroyd - Westmead Hospital (02) 9845 5555 - A5C Bed 41

Good morning all,

Let me first apologise for not sending an email for the past few days. Life has been pretty hectic with Dad being in hospital. We have been busily cleaning his house for his homecoming as well as seeing him in hospial

He is doing really, really well. He cannot have surgery - they have decided his heart just won't take another graft; So what they are doing is concentrating on getting his lungs better and getting medication right for his heart.

Dad was moved to another ward during the night - he is now in A5C Bed 41, a shared ward. The Doctor who was on duty over the weekend is pleasantly surprised at how much progress he has made. And we are all really happy that he is on the mend.

He will probably be home towards the end of the week. Dad knows he now has to take better care of himself, watching his diet etc. He has lost 5 kgs this week!

So that is about all I can tell you for now. I have been passing on everyones wishes and thoughts and he is most appreciative. 

Will give more updates later on.
