If there were other bands coming on after you, I would think it very
inconsiderate of you not to get off the stage at the allotted time. By
performing an encore you are cutting into the time of the bands coming after
you. If every band took an encore the programme would soon get out of
kilter.Bands which play over their time are the bane of organisers and other
performers!
