[Dixielandjazz] Why Did The Cornet Become a Second-Rate Citizen?

It was necessary for all the Cornet players to switch to Trumpet because they are all so long winded :))  LOL

Cornets were mostly played by Band leaders with deep pockets and very short arms.  :))   ask any of their sidemen.   LOL
