It has been a sad week for Australian jazz.
Another member of the jazz family, drummer Ken Harrison died this morning, 30 November 2012. The cancer finally won, which he had kept in remission for about seven years.
Kenny (born: 6 May 1933) will be well known as a member of the Graeme Bell All Stars from mid 1978 to mid 1982.    
He came to Australia from England in 1973 with an impressive jazz reputation, having played with the best bands there including Nat Gonella.
Funeral details will follow when known.
