[Dixielandjazz] Condon / Duff Campbell's Revenge - question about KEY

I think this has been run over a few times but I can't find the emails.
 
Did Condon ever record Duff Campbell's Revenge in Db? I know the recording
from the 5 disc set sounds in Db (CBS Complete Recordings Eddie Condon and
His All Stars) but I thought the story was that Condon gave up trying to
record it in Db because he and the band couldn't pull it off and so recorded
it in Bb. Was it then mechanically altered to sound in Db?
