Hi Bill,

That is sad news indeed.  He had a long and productive life and influenced many young jazzers.  I'm sorry for the personal loss this is for you.

A number of years ago a friend of mine in New South Wales, Bob Taylor, who is now also deceased, sent me a copy of Graeme Bell's autobiography which I very much enjoyed reading.  

He will live on in his many fine recordings.
