[Dixielandjazz] Showmanship and Dixieland

Great!  So I am not, after all, the only one to hear that the
"identical" Armstrong solos were all different!
A long time ago, after having read in Humph's book how Armstrong
played thesame solo again and againn, I played four different concert
renditions of the same song (probably Panama, but after all these
years I cannot be sure), and each sounded different to me.  And
playing times differed, too.
The same thing is true of Bechet's "Petit Fleur:" ostensibly played
straight, each version sounds a little different.
